years - played out in large part by the fishing fleets of Gloucester,
The vessels themselves were possessed of great
power, speed, and beauty of design.
The men were intrepid as they set
out in their dories to tend trawl lines day in and day out
in all but the most
forbidding of weather conditions.
In this series of paintings I have portrayed various aspects of the
